Coddy & Little Flower Concept Art

Do you guys remember of my characters Coddy and Little Flower?

 

Well there might be a super awesome project coming with them! 

 

It's REALLY nothing official but anyway here are two concept images I did a few months ago. I'm still exploring the overall atmosphere of the universe those two kids will live in.

 

I'll tell you if there will be more to come!

Mother Nature

Here is Little Flower's mom!  She will play a very important character in my story!  Oh, and by the way, (I don't know if I already told you but...) all the Coddy and Little Flower stuff that I've been doing lately are concept art for a future children's book series that I would like to publish when I'll finished it . whitch hope will be soon...  Anyway, right now I'm figuring out all the other secondary characters designs and they'll soon be on the blog!

Trying to figure it out

I finished writing these two kids story!!

My goal is to make some childrens book with this but right now I'm still searching how I will design backgrounds. But this is like a fail, I'll stry to figure out a more stylized one.

Anyway it still make a pretty nice wallpaper for my computer... :P

Some sketches and coloured version of Coddy and Little Flower.

As you can see there I've done allot more sketches with Little Flower this is because it took me quite more time to identify the design of Little Flower than Coddy. I had no idea what a eight years old girl sould look like! ^^ 

Anyway, right now I'm on my way to finish the first part of their story and it don't seem too bad at all.

                     The Supporting characters from this story are next to come!

Coddy and Little Flower

Hey guys!

 I found last night one of my old watercolor kit that I used when I was in elementary school. Then I thought "why not make some characters with my old kit?"

 These are the final designs of Coddy and Little Flower the main characters for a personnal project.

I had alot of fun doing this! And it's sure that I will do other illustrations with this old kit! This is just too awesome!

Night drawing!

Monday night, I was doodling on Photoshop all sorts of things and after a few minutes I had something like this drawing below... It wasn't the most beautiful thing I had done, but it gave me the idea of drawing a forest. (What an original idea!!)

That night I really had nothing to do (like every night ). So I pushed this little sketch until it becomes nice enough  for me and after a few hours (8 infact) I've come  to this. I  just added those two characters on witch I'm working on the designs right now.

The boy the picture is an other and much older version of Coddy, but I'm still not satisfied with it.
