A Stormy Night Assignment

Hey there! I'm alive! 

The last months were so crazy that I didn't have a second to upload all the things I've done here. But now that my Christmas break has started, I think it's time to set this blog up-to-date!

The main projects I've been working on, were my thesis film, EL TERROR, and this FX animation assignment called A Stormy Night. Here is the result it was all done on Toonboom Harmony (a wonderful software).

Right below, are the two backgrounds that I had to paint. My teachers wanted me to have a realistic ambiance. I'm quite satisfied with the final result of it all since it's my first time doing a more realistic painting.

And finally, a test gif I've done to see if the transition between the two ambiance was working well enough.
So to conclude, I thought this assignment was pretty awesome! Seriously, I didn't know animating special effects could be this fun! I can't wait to start the FX animation for my short movie!

THE "JAMES BOND GIRL" WEEKLY TRINQUETTE DRAWING CHALLENGE

I've joined a few months ago the Trinquette publishing challenges and I have to say I'm having alot of fun with their  different themes! The one for this week was James Bond  girl. I've chosen the first bond girl that I've seen in my life: Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) from Casino Royale. I remember the first time I saw the movie I was twelve years old and I totally felt for her smoky eyes!

First day of college and guys, I’M MAKING A SHORT THIS YEAR!

This is the thing that kept me busy all summer and that will keep me busy for a looooooooonng time.I’m gonna work my butt off to make this movie crazy awesome!

Big Brother Big Sister Storyboard

Hey guys!

I finally had time to post one of my first storyboard assignment! I had to do a commercial. I chose the Big Brothers Big Sisters oganization cause what they do is just freakin’ awesome!

It's this little song that gave me this commercial idea. I think it would fit pretty well with the board.

 Here are the designs of the main characters. I made some simple design to concentrate myself a little more on their story.

One character three different styles!

I was cleaning my USB key yesterday and I founded this old character design assignment I’ve made. I had to create one character, translate this character in three different  animation styles and animate one of the designs. I decided to bring life to the (looney tunes) cartoon design!

Gigi And Hiphip Animated

Ugh… So here is my assignment for my character interaction class with these kids. I didn’t had the time to fix some mistakes and to complete the whole thing but I still had a nice time animating these kids… Still Trying to improve one step at the time!

Really weird named kids

Haha! I think I’ve never given such horrible names to my characters. 

Anyway, these two kids are, once again, being badly animated by me! Still trying to improve on that painful but purely fantastic thing that is hand drawn animation!

The animation should be on here by next week.

One Background, Two Color Shemes

Here's another class homework I had to work with the different color contrasts from Johannes Itten's book  The Art of Color you should seriously take a look at it theres you could understand and learn alot about the use of colors.
