A Stormy Night Assignment

Hey there! I'm alive! 

The last months were so crazy that I didn't have a second to upload all the things I've done here. But now that my Christmas break has started, I think it's time to set this blog up-to-date!

The main projects I've been working on, were my thesis film, EL TERROR, and this FX animation assignment called A Stormy Night. Here is the result it was all done on Toonboom Harmony (a wonderful software).

Right below, are the two backgrounds that I had to paint. My teachers wanted me to have a realistic ambiance. I'm quite satisfied with the final result of it all since it's my first time doing a more realistic painting.

And finally, a test gif I've done to see if the transition between the two ambiance was working well enough.
So to conclude, I thought this assignment was pretty awesome! Seriously, I didn't know animating special effects could be this fun! I can't wait to start the FX animation for my short movie!

Gigi And Hiphip Animated

Ugh… So here is my assignment for my character interaction class with these kids. I didn’t had the time to fix some mistakes and to complete the whole thing but I still had a nice time animating these kids… Still Trying to improve one step at the time! 

This is so HHHAAAAARRDDDD!

Oh and here are the first research sketches of these two kids.

Bear Walking Cycle

Here's another animation assignement. I had alot of fun animating this but there was a lot of stuff to care of. My teacher told me it is one of the hardest thing to animate because every parts of his body is moving with a different rythym. This isn't exacly what I want but I think I've improved a little bit more. 

Let's keep this up!

Bird Flying Cycle

This is one of my animation class assignement . We had to design à tall bird and make a flying cycle with it.

So here is some research I did.

At first I want it to have a more goofy looking but then I decided to make a more of cute and skinny bird.

And after that I animated that little birdie. There is still ALOT of improvement that is needed here cause I'm REALLY NOT satisfied by the results. but I've made this blog to see my evolution over the years and compared to my animations of last year, this is a big step up. So I'm gonna keep on climbing those stears one step at the time and (hopefully) I'll get to want.

I guess that was all I had to say about this bird flying cycle

Glen Keane's Resignation

I did this quick little caricature because I just heard that after nearly 38 years at the company, long time Disney Animator and Artist Glen Keane resigns today…

I couldn’t believe it at first… This guy as drawn my entire life. With him and his magnificent characters I knew that I wanted to make animation a part of my life.

 I’ll miss you…but thank you so much for all of your artistic creations… You have inspired a tons of persons over the world with your art.

You deserved your vacations more then everyone!

The Guardian

Here is an character that I've created for a project at school (creativity class). His job was to keep outdated clothes in a  flying jail made in counterpane. The story was very nice to create. So I did this character and I loved it so much that yesterday I've played with his facial expressions!Still more of this dude to come. Should be jolly good fun!
